According<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/physicalactivity\/basics\/adults\/health-benefits-of-physical-activity-for-children.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(CDC), the health benefits of physical activity<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for children include improved academic performance, brain health, bone strength, and<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">overall long-term health. Being active as a family is one way to encourage movement as a<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">lifestyle and set the example to make it a part of their everyday routine. Here are ways to<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">get the most out of your activity as a family.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Start the day with movement<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the tone for the day with some kind of physical activity. Walk the dog as a family,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">practice morning yoga, stretch, take a walk around the neighborhood, or walk to<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">school\/work together. Starting your day with exercise ensures that it gets done every day<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and starts the day on a high note. Plan a neighborhood scavenger hunt or explore a new park.
