Chances are you\u2019ve started thinking about the upcoming holidays and ways to maintain (at least a few) healthy habits while enjoying all the food, friends and fun. Luckily, the Venture sneaker debuted this month, and it\u2019s the perfect tool to keep you moving throughout the holiday season. We spoke to two of the product development specialists responsible for this sleek new design.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Venture is the lightest, most breathable athletic shoe we\u2019ve made so far,\u201d says Tony, our Technical Designer. \u201cIt\u2019s lightweight, but it has the same tried and tested Orthaheel technology as all of our other shoes.\u201d<\/p>\n

What sets the Venture apart?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve added an EVA board in the base of the shoe that\u2019s padded and perforated for extra cushioning, as well as arch reinforcement. Even though it\u2019s a flexible shoe, it\u2019s still very supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of breathability in the Venture because of the double-mesh upper,\u201d adds Emily, one of our footwear designers. \u201cWe\u2019ve really paid attention to the seam placement in the upper so that movement is unrestricted. It won\u2019t rub against the more sensitive areas of your foot.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the best part? \u201cIt matches all your favorite colors in your wardrobe,\u201d says Emily. \u201cMy favorite color way is the silver chartreuse!\u201d<\/p>\n
