This past September, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Vionic was honored to host a brain cancer research fundraiser benefiting St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital and PNOC (the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium Foundation), the latter of which was established by Vionic co-founder Bruce Campbell and his wife Allyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the generous donations of Vionic customers and team members, we\u2019re pleased to report that close to $10,000 was raised\u2014100% of which was split equally between St. Jude and PNOC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diagnosis of childhood cancer is devastating for all members of a family. Brain cancer, now the leading childhood cancer, remains vastly underfunded. Research dollars are critical to treating this disease and finding a cure. The promising news is that outcomes are improving. However, there\u2019s much progress to be made, dependent on funds to support the research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the rewarding things about a corporate mission focused on support, comfort, and wellness is the opportunity to partner with other groups\u2014like St. Jude and PNOC\u2014that are equally dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the work of our charitable division VIONIC CARES, we look forward to continuing these relationships and engaging with others to make a positive difference where and when we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
