For the third year in a row, Vionic is\u00a0proud to have participated as a sponsor in support of\u00a0the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer in San Francisco, CA. This annual, two-day walk spans over 39.3 miles and helps raise funds for\u00a0research, programs and treatments to\u00a0end breast cancer. Vionic donated 1,400\u00a0pairs of our Beach flip flops with supportive technology<\/a> to the walkers who took part in\u00a0this year’s event.<\/p>\n

In addition to our sponsorship,\u00a0a team of 5\u00a0Vionic employees participated in the walk and raised $11,593\u00a0in donations in\u00a0support of AVON\u00a039.\u00a0We also had a large group of\u00a0volunteers who lent their support by cheering on\u00a0walkers as they completed the course and helped give away Vionic sandals to the walkers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to support the people walking to raise money and awareness for such a vital cause. It\u2019s especially important to support one another during times of challenge, as we\u2019ve all had personal connections with women facing this battle,\u201d said Vionic President Connie Rishwain. \u201cWe hope our donation offers comfort to those who put themselves through this personal challenge over their two-day journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Vionic was overjoyed\u00a0to\u00a0participate in this year’s walk, the fight against\u00a0breast cancer is not over. To offer our continuous support, Vionic has created limited edition prints of our Vionic Beach Sandal. With each pair purchased, $5 will be donated to a local breast cancer charity.
