Harper Wilde started with a question – why are bras so expensive? Co-founders Jenna Kerner and Jane Fisher didn\u2019t have an answer. In fact, they ran into more questions: why is the bra industry so over-sexualized? Why is a product that is meant for women, typically marketed toward men? As they delved deeper into the world of intimates, they found injustices, absurdities, and some humor along the way that inspired them to create a company that women are proud to stand behind.<\/em><\/p>\n

And so, Harper Wilde<\/a> was born.\u00a0Jenna and Jane talked to hundreds of women to determine what features women want and need in a bra, and which ones they don\u2019t. They created everyday bras that match a woman\u2019s real needs – including the needs of her bank account. They built a shopping experience that removes the middlemen (because why are men running this industry anyway?). As a result, Harper Wilde provides quality products at fair prices.<\/em><\/p>\n

But Harper Wilde doesn\u2019t stop there. They\u2019re empowering every Wilde Woman – from their employees and their factory workers, to girls who can\u2019t afford an education. Inspired by Harper Lee and Laura Ingalls Wilder, Harper Wilde has education and empowerment at our core. They are committed not only to lifting up your ladies, but also to lifting up the future generation of leading ladies.<\/em><\/p>\n

Describe your company in a few words.\u00a0 What style need does it fill?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For my cofounder Jane and myself, Harper Wilde has never been about the bra – it’s about the woman wearing it and the amazing things that she’s doing. We build our products for her every day – with the comfort and versatility she needs, and without the embellishments she doesn’t need.<\/p>\n

Describe your personal ‘go to’ style.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Neutrals, clean lines, and simplicity. I carry the \u2018less is more\u2019 approach to my wardrobe.<\/p>\n

As a female\u00a0founded business, how do you interpret the\u00a0Vionic\u00a0Secret: \u2018Style. It doesn\u2019t have to hurt\u2019<\/em>?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is one of the key philosophies ingrained in our company. We want women to be comfortable to enable them to focus on what matters most in their day. As long as she feels great, great things will follow.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s empowering about a confident woman?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I see a confident woman, I think about all the other women who she could inspire and lift up throughout her lifetime. I think about the effect that will have, and the future we can create for our daughters and granddaughters. This is the core of our mission to \u2018Lift Up The Ladies\u2019 and I love seeing it play out day after day.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your secret to feeling your best?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Walks by the ocean. To me, there’s nothing that relaxes me quite like being close to the water.<\/p>\n
