General Review on Vionic
This review is not on this product. In general they are over priced, made in China, not that comfortable as they all say. I bought 3 pair. One sleep on, One walking shoes, and one high heal (not too high). All three are OK, not like sooo comfortable and all. Yes, it is light wait, but support and comfort come with arch support, there is not one formula fit all. I believe you better off going to your doctor and have costume arch support than spending money on vionic. I believe personally that New Balance high range ($$) walking shoe are more comfortable than this.

Elation Active Sneaker
Love the colors but will have to return. The shoe didn't have high enough arch support.

Sandals are much better
I bought sneakers a couple years ago and returned them within a week. I love their sandals and have seven pair, but their sneakers just don't measure up. The arch support is lower and the overall fit is off. I can wear any of the sandals for hours and hours and literally walk for miles but within minutes I can't wait to get the sneakers off! I have tried a half size bigger to no avail.

Hooray for all their sandals ... but so far as the sneakers go the pair I just bought are going back.

Not what I hoped for $139.99
I bought this pair of shoes in preparation for trip to Grand, Bryce and Zion canyons. I assumed for the price $139 the shoes would have vionic athletic support insert to support my feet with arch support and deep heel alignment. Sadly there is no athletic suppprt insert.I considered returning the shoes but I needed something to wear on my trip. Whatever is in those shoes did not give my feet the vionic support I thought I’d paid for. After all those miles in only a week there is virtually no support remaining. Very disappointing for this loyal vionic customer.

Poor Orthotic Quality Cushion Deteriorates
First I want to say I love the Elation shoe in terms of the rounded toe, footbed, design, the overall quality of the outer shoe and sole, the comfort, the arch support and the colors.
I have purchased 3 pairs of these shoes and haven't worn the third pair yet. The problem I have is that the interior orthotic in the heel area wears down after 5 1/2 to 6 months of casual wear a few hours per day, about a third of the time (amounting to wearing the shoe every day for 2 months a few hours per day). At this point your heel will then be walking on the top of the hard sole and it has caused me to have pain in the heel, a problem I never had before. Any podiatrist or physical therapist will tell you to walk heel to toe so you would think the company would take great care and concern over building the shoe will good heel support.
The first time this happened I called customer service and they said they had not heard of this problem. I was one of the early buyers of this shoe so I thought either enough people had not experienced the shoe to determine this problem or it was just an isolated case where the shoe wasn't manufactured correctly. The company graciously replaced the shoe with another pair I ordered on Oct 24, it shipped on Oct 25 and I got it around the end of October. In the last 10 days I noticed my heel starting to hurt again and it dawned on me that it must be the Vionics have worn down. I look to check and the heel support is totally worn down especially on the left foot. The shoe is in good shape, sole shows good tread. I called the company today May 3rd and explained again the problem. I told them in my opinion it was a manufacturing design issue and they should take a look at the shoe to figure out how they could add more cushion to the heel. The representative, Stormy, showed no interest in this process nor did I suspect the supervisor she consulted. It's disappointing since I really love the shoe but it should last more than effectively 2 months wear if you wore it everyday for $150+ after you pay tax and shipping. The company also said that the shoe is designed to only last 6 months (apparently that must not be wearing it full time) and since I called a few days after the 6 month warranty there is nothing they could do for me. I find this to be a ridiculous position since I gave the shoe a second chance only to find the same problem occurred within the same time period and with basically gentle wear (I wasn't working out in the shoe, I use my Brooks Adrenline GTS17 for long walks and I go swimming otherwise, not in the shoes :) ) for what I consider a short life cycle of a $150 shoe.
I personally expect more interest in any design flaws from a company who has podiatrist participating in the promotion and design. I can tell you if the company holds this position with all its' shoes and design process the company will not survive in the long run.
I could not recommend the shoe to a friend without telling them about the heel issue.

Good fit
I bought them about 3 months ago and at first I wasn't sure if it was going to work for me. But after wearing them I really like them. It's a good fit and my feet don't hurt as much as they usually do

Beware of the shoe bottom falling apart
Bought this shoe for an active casual sneaker and for a trip. I had only worn them maybe 4 times and the sole started to come apart causing me to fall. The customer service is terrible to get a live person. My 30 day return had expired before getting home from my trip. Beware of the sole, it has glued strips that will come apart.

Stylish & Comfortable
Got my new shoes and love them! They are supportive and comfortable for all day wear. Stylish too! It said to order a half size larger but mine are a bit too big, especially in the width. But they feel good on my morning walk and while running errands during the day.
