QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York’s Annual Shoes On Sale Gala

For the third year running, Vionic Group was proud to sponsor QVC and FFaNY’s annual Shoes On Sale fundraiser for breast cancer research. The event, which took place on October 8^th at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York, has raised nearly $45 million since its inception in 1993 thanks to shoe industry sponsors. Shoes On Sale brings together shoe industry all-stars who generously donate thousands of pairs of shoes to sell at this star-studded event. All proceeds go to programs and institutions at the forefront of cutting edge breast cancer research. This year, Vionic donated nearly $50K worth of product to the cause.

We made sure our PR Coordinator, Kate, had a good seat to witness the massive philanthropic effort. “It was a really inspiring event,” she said. “To see so many sponsors donate so generously made me proud to be part of an industry that understands the importance of funding research for a cure.”
