Submissions will be judged by a panel of experts in two rounds:

• First, Vionic will choose five exemplary submissions to move on to the second round.

• Teachers that advance to the second round will receive up to $500 for the materials they need to carry out their lesson plan.

• During the spring semester, the five finalists will teach their lesson plan and record their results throughout the process on a rubric Vionic will provide.

• After submitting the results of your lesson plan, Dr. Weil - an esteemed member of our Innovation Lab team- will select one winner based on creativity, presentation, execution, and student participation.

The Judging Panel

Dr. Andrew Weil

Andrew Weil, MD, is an internationally recognized leader and pioneer in the field of integrative medicine, a healing-oriented approach to health care that encompasses body, mind and spirit.

He is the founder and director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AzCIM) at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson. Dr. Weil's program has been used to train more than 500 physicians and other experts.
