Walkabout: An Australian journey for well-being, during which one seeks to clarify his/her life purpose. A time of reflection and to reconnect with family and community.
It’s official! Here at the Orthaheel USA, we’ve kicked off a nationwide Walkabout campaign that will begin on March 27, 2012, led by 50 brand ambassadors from across the United States. The campaign will take place over a 28-day period of time, during which ambassadors will post about their journeys on a variety of social media channels.
So the search is on for our 50 brand ambassadors and we would love for you to join us on this journey and quest for optimum health.
Why join? Not only will the Walkabout get you a few steps closer to meeting your personal health and fitness goals, each ambassador will receive a wellness kit and a pair of Orthaheel to fit three lifestyles – the individual who incorporates their daily walking routine into their commute, a mom walking to the park, or the power walkers — and will be fitted with a pair of shoes to suit their walking style. Participants will also receive a one-year discount on the brands’ footwear and orthotics. Upon completion of the 28-day challenge, one individual will be selected at random for a grand prize to be announced. There are also incentive prizes throughout the 28-days for those that post and share about their Walkabout experiences on their respective media channels.

The Walkabout will officially kick-off with Podiatrist Philip Vasyli in NYC on March 27th Philip Vasyli will announce the brand ambassadors at media tea and walk the first leg of the campaign themselves.
