It has been a sad and unsettling week for our organization, with waves of emotions that come and go. Our founder, Phillip Vasyli, was a warm and genuine colleague and friend, and his presence in our lives will be greatly missed. A familiar sight around our San Rafael office, Phil’s charisma and larger-than-life personality never failed to light up a room.
Phil had a deep and profound belief in the people he worked with, and it is this confidence that gives us the strength to move forward, though we do so with heavy hearts. The same drive that guided him as a podiatrist, a healer and an entrepreneur will guide us in honoring his legacy. Phil’s vision is integral to the Vionic philosophy, and we will continue our efforts with his goals at heart.
In recent days we have experienced an overwhelming outpouring of support, for which we are very grateful. These kind words have reaffirmed our dedication to Phil’s mission, and Vionic will strive to achieve it every day going forward.

Did not know of his passing, very sorry to read this. I have one question on discontinued men’s active Contest and Endurance sneakers, why has Vionic discontinued or your not going to resupply these styles any more ? My first orthopedic running she was the Contest, when I went these started to wear down, I could not find the Contest shoe in my size 10.5 wide, so I bought Endurance, now I can’t find either one in my size on Vionic, Amazon, or any other shoe store on line that would carry Vionic. You make a great shoe, but as we get older our body breaks down and changes, including our feet, please help. thanks jlk

All I can say is thank you! 4 years ago I broke my foot w 3 lisfranic fracture dislocation breaks. At the time I was a very active athlete and this injury made it impossible for me to walk sometimes. I was in non pressure cast for 6 months and had 2 sergerys. Getting back into the gym was hard. I couldn’t find a shoe that didn’t cause extream pain. My job requires me to be on my feet for 8-10 hours. Since I have been wearing your shoes I no longer limp! I can not thank you enough for designing these shoes they have been amazing . Thank you so much ! Thank you for continuing w Phillip Vasylis vision it has helped me so much.
