Stretching Your Feet Post-Workout

In today’s Shape Magazine article, Vionic Innovation Lab member and sports physical therapist Brian Hoke offers a few key tips on stretching your feet after strenuous activity. This isn’t just limited to working out– in fact, feet should be stretched after long walks as well.

In addition to stretching the feet, loosening your calf muscles is a must, Hoke says. “A common mistake is to allow the arches to fall while stretching the calf muscle. It causes stress that can aggravate foot problems, like plantar fasciitis.”
