Vionic’s charitable giving program, Vionic Supports, was proud to support San Francisco’s AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer this past weekend. Vionic partnered with AVON for the second year in a row and gifted nearly 2000 walkers with free, limited-edition Beach Noosa flip flops with arch support. Our team was there to greet the walkers as they crossed the midpoint of the race in Corte Madera, CA at the end of the first day of the walk!
Thousands of participants walked 39.3 miles over the course of two days in an effort to raise funds for breast cancer treatment and research. Four of our own Vionic employees also participated in the walk, and raised over $7000 in donations to support the cause!
“We are so happy to be passionately supporting the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer for the second year in a row,” said Bruce Campbell, Chief Operating Officer of Vionic. “All of us have been or will be touched by cancer in our lifetime, whether it be in person or through a family, friend or colleague. The cause and this event are so profoundly connected with Vionic’s mantra to ‘Walk. Move. Live.’”
