After a brutally cold winter on the East Coast and an unusually wet winter on the West Coast, my fashion sense is screaming for warm, bright colors in styles that say, “get me outdoors!”
The Ailie Casual in Berry makes me think of enjoying a refreshing bowl of wild berries on a hot summer day! I love this shoe for every day. I slip them on to and run and get blowout and just as easily slip them off when I duck into a SoulCyle class. They look as great with Yoga pants as they do with a sundress. (Not recommended for eight inches of snow in NYC, though– take my word for it!)
The Karina Toe Post Sandal in Orange Lizard is a heart stealer! First of all: the color! This orange must be worn in the tropics– and if you can’t get there, then just slip on these delicious little sandals, close your eyes and repeat, “there’s no place like the tropics, there’s no place like the tropics!” Imagine it!
Since I am the workout girl, I couldn’t leave out a sneaker. And Vionic has done it again with the Venture Walker. This sneaker has just the right balance of style and function. They took all my favorite functional and supportive elements from the Rhythm Walker and added in a lightweight, sleek new style. I have them in every color– yes, every color– but for my spring style needs I am going with the Silver (which has a sweet pop of fuchsia on the trim!).
Last but not least, the Tide Rhinestone flip-flop. Once someone says “spring,” I’m already thinking ahead to summer. (And summer equals flip-flops!) I always love Vionic’s Tide flip-flop and this year I am really lovin’ on the fuchsia with rhinestones. Perfect for Pilates class, evening drinks at the beach and every step between!
